Hurricane Michael Relief Trip

Thank you for your interest in joining with us to help the people and communities impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Michael. We are sending teams to help with chainsaw work, clearing debris, mud-out houses and more. Once you are registered for a trip, a team leader will contact you with specific details about your trip. Teams typically leave on Wednesday afternoon/evening. Teams will work full days on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and a part day on Sunday before returning home. Team members will provide their own transportation (usually carpooling together).
We do not want to be a burden on the churches we are partnering with. Team members will need to bring their own food (protein bars, non-perishables, etc). There are a limited number of fast food places open for you to purchase food as well. We have some beds, cots and air mattresses for sleeping. You will want to bring your own bedding/sleeping bag.
This is a disaster zone. This trip will include long, hard, strenuous days of work. Please use your discretion as to whether you have any physical or medical limitations that would be a hindrance on a trip like this. There is a $100 fee per person which covers background check, supplemental insurance, miscellaneous needs (fuel, oil, etc for equipment), and blessing the church that is hosting us.
NOTE: In order to be accepted for one of our teams, you must:
1) Fill out Application.
2) Fill out and sign the Medical and Liability Release Waiver/Talent Release.
3) Fill out and sign the Background Check form.
4) Make $100 payment in full.
